Trip to Malacca
I woke up early in the morning 4.50am to get ready for the trip . I reached school at around 6. 10am.I gathered in the hall with my friends at 6+ around 7. We left for the bus boarding at 7.10am. Soon, we reached singapore customs, we went throught the custom at Tuas then head for the 2nd link . After that , we boarded another bus at Johor Bahru for the city tour.
Then we head to Yong Peng to shop for some items. We headed to a School in Yong Peng named: Nan Li Hua Xiao (If i'm not wrong) . We're seated down on chairs in their hall while enjoying the concert they have prepared for us. There are many houseflies at the school. ZhouQuan, QianYi & Baohua sat behind me, with a Hard-cover book to snap the houseflies. The performance they've got us was outrageous because the little girl sang so well and the indian dance gave by the girl was nicely presented too . The indian girl even know how to speak Chinese as she was sitting in front of me.After the concert, we interacted with the students there. They were shy but still , friendly enough. Then we went to an open field to fly kites. We failed to fly the kite up high , still unsure of the reason . We went for a visit to the dam near the school . we were told that the water in the dam has dried up alot due to Global Warming.
After these, we went for lunch at Yong Peng in a Restaurant. I've forgotten the name of the restaurant but the food was Bagus :D . We headed for Malacca, It was a 1hr-2hr long trip. The first thing we went for was to shop at Tan Kim Hock for local products when we first reached there. We were told to gather after 20 minutes, but was later informed of the bus had a flat tyre.We waited for half an hour before catching up with the other P6s that had gone for the Christ Church to explore. We climbed to the St. Paul's Church then to view St. Francis xavier's statue. We also went to take a look at St' Francis Xavier's Grave. Many of us threw money into the grave as many take it as "wishing well". While going down from the hill , the rain started to drizzle a little. There came pouring rain which drenched all of us wet.
Went for a restaurant to have dinner, was all drenched up . After dinner, reached Renaissance Hotel at around 8.30pm. After much briefing, we checked in to the hotel . The hotel was Superb! It was cold in there , too . Then i went to bath ,after the hot shower bath , There was still time to visit our friend's room. Was told by anzi that the minibar in our hotel could be opened. We then went to isabella and shandy's room . Not long after, Ms Yun came in with camera and said that she wanted to take a photo of 6P. All the 6P students gathered in Isa and Shan's room for photo taking. Then, we went back to the hotel. Didn't sleep until 1-2am^_^. I didn't have much sleep . First Guihui woke me up.. then i dialled for Ms yun . Second, after Ms yun left, guihui woke me up again . I shout for anzi to wake her. After a while, anzi said that she had a stomache. Dialled for Ms yun again and ask whether anzi could consume the Chinese medicine to relieve tummy aches.
I bet Ms yun cannot stand it then she brought her valuables, knocked on our hotel room, and join us for the sleep ... from then, we can't chat but to sleep . Alarm rang on 5am to wake up. brush teeth, bath then got ready for the check out. We have the breakfast in hotel, sort of like a buffet. After that , we headed for Kampong Indah . Was bitten by a BLOODY mosquito. I've already sprayed 3 kinds of insect repellent on my skin... Thanks to Ms Yun's Insect repellent, the mosquitoes then stayed away from me. I bet those mosquitoes loved me alot.
There was a guide touring us for Kampong Indah . We've done many interesting things. Moreover, i want to dwell on one thing that "amused" me. Rubber tapping was done before that . The guide told us to dap the rubber latex. My hand STINKS after touching it . Like Decomposing bodies. We then have a shot walk to see palm trees then into a kampong house. We were briefed on how do Malay dress as a Lady , and for Men too. We went to view the Bridal Chamber. Ms Yun took a photo of me & Isabella infront of the chamber .We can buy some accessories at the house. After that, we're taught how to make Ketupat casings. Went for a Kampong tour later on. Saw MANY toads, a snake.
Finally, we reached the place for Batik painting. I had fun painting but my painting was, ugly. It was also, finally an air-conditioned place to cool us down. After the painting, headed for a restaurant to have lunch. It was buffet too , free icecream, desserts and more. After that , headed back to Singapore. The Trip back to Singapore was boring. DVDs were screened on the television while I was sleeping. Watched part of them though. Reached Hong Wen School at 7+ pm. Went home myself as Mum could not catch a taxi . Afterall, I did not snap any photo except one. Ms Yun has got Privilege! xD
Look at Ms Yun's Carefree look though it wasn't clear:D but looks like she enjoyed the trip throughout. Despite our craziness.
